Adventure Girl Stefanie Michaels Aims to Raise 140 Smiles for Operation Smile With Las Vegas Charity Event

LAS VEGAS, NV — On Friday, Oct. 15, Stefanie Michaels, known to millions in the Twitterverse as Adventure Girl, is bringing her world famous brand to Beatles Revolution Lounge at The Mirage to raise awareness for Operation Smile.

Her event, the Love Party: A Benefit for Michaels’ 140Smiles campaign for Operation Smile, begins at 10 p.m. with free spirits sponsored by Red Bull to Blog World attendees from 10 p.m. until 12 a.m. Teaming with sponsors Revolution Lounge, The Light Group and Cirque Du Soleil, monies raised from the event will help grant life-changing surgeries to 140 children with facial deformities.

“I have been active in this organization since 2009 and it is a cause that is dear to my heart,” she says. “My brother who died had a cleft lip, so in his honor, I have traveled the world to raise awareness about children in need and the work that Operation Smile does to change lives one smile at a time.”

The event coincides with BlogWorld, a yearly conference bloggers attend in Las Vegas. Entry to the event is free for attendees of the conference.

Michaels is asking party goers to “check-in for charity” using her social media supporter, Foursquare. For every person who checks-in to the Operation Smile event on Foursquare, $1 will be donated to the charity. In addition, Revolution Lounge will donate 50 percent of the night’s revenue to Operation Smile.

“It is our hope that we can help even more children with money raised from this event,” says Michaels. “BlogWorld attracts thousands and it is my hope each and every attendee makes it a point to come by the party, have a great time and open their hearts to this wonderful organization.”
