What’s there to love in NYC’s East Village? Handcrafted jewelry, actually.
New York City’s East Village is where I like to spend most of my time when visiting one of my favorite places on the planet.
It’s not uncommon to find me weaving in and out of the many tiny artsy boutiques, often times spending hours in just one shop oohing and ahh-ing over little finds.
One of my favorite shops is Studio DuArte, a mix of trendy hand crafted jewelry from New York based Brazilian designer M Cristina Duarte Veronese, who creates handmade jewelry with unique geometrical designs in sterling and gold.
Many other items are peppered throughout the space, such as hand painted t-shirts created by Duarte’s artist friends.
I love Christina’s “blings” so much, that on this last trip, I went back a second time to grab more great pieces to bring home.
